The Stories of the Everyday self-guided trail delves into a fascinating mix of real South Australian stories - stories that tug at the heart, lift the spirits and provide an alternative view of the State's vibrant history. Most of the people included on the trail lived regular lives, a long way from the spotlight.
As you weave your way through the cemetery, relive the treacherous sea voyage to the colony, celebrate triumph over adversity, feel the overwhelming sorrow of a mother's loss and meet the man at the centre of an international mystery. There are 20 sites to visit on this two kilometre loop-walk. Each point of interest is marked with an information panel.
A map and brown way-finding markers will help you navigate through the cemetery. A copy of the map can be found at stop one on the trail, located just inside the main entrance to the cemetery. Allow 60 minutes to complete the trail.
