Shelley Forest Camp is ideal for groups and individuals seeking a venue for outdoor recreation, environmental education and relaxation. The camp can be hired on a short or longer term basis, providing an ideal setting for activities such as family gatherings, bushwalking and birdwatching groups, cyclists, workshops and meetings. Members of the Koetong-Shelley Development Association offer guided nature walks by prior arrangement.
The camp is ideally located close to the High Country Rail Trail and its iconic trestle bridges, Shelley Railway Station (former highest in Victoria), Mountain Creek Education Area and Nature Trail, Avondale Gardens, Mt Lawson State Park, Lawrence Alpine Lookout and Pheasant Creek Nature Conversation Reserve.
Shelley Forest Camp is fully self catered however catering can be arranged upon request. Its large kitchen and recreation/meeting room can seat up to 70 people and up to 50 people can be accommodated in the two large lodges. Most rooms contain beds to accommodate up to three people. Linen is not supplied but can be supplied on request.
Shelley Forest Camp is located on the Murray Valley Highway (85 kilometres from Wodonga) and 40 kilometres or 30 minutes travel from Corryong and Tallangatta.
